Changes to the 2004 edition of NFPA 36 include:
Better correlation with NFPA 30: Flammable and Combustible Liquids Code regarding transfer of liquids Clarification of effluent handling under emergency conditions An exception to allow installation of an automatic pressure control valve in the extractor vent line Addition of iso-hexane as a recognized solvent for the extraction process, including physical property data Format and editorial changes that improve readability and facilitate easier referencing
